The Group Room - in collaboration with Cancer.net, ASCO's patient-oriented website, providing oncologist-vetted cancer information to help individuals make informed health care decisions - Vital Options presents its annual live broadcast from the floor of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Orlando, Florida. This year's show will also be videocast.
The annual ASCO meeting is the world
premier scientific event for oncology professionals. More than 30,000 cancer specialists from
around the world are expected to gather to discuss the latest advances in
cancer care, treatment, prevention and survivorship. This year's theme is "Personalizing Cancer Care", a practice focusing on caring
for the individual - not just treating the disease - through the entire
spectrum of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment to survivorship and end of
life care.
